Terminal and SSH

Browser terminal

A terminal into a running Kiste right in the console, without installing anything.

The console has a terminal under Terminal: choose a running Kiste and you get a shell in the browser, with nothing to install. It is handy on a borrowed computer, a tablet, or to fix something quickly.

The browser terminal uses its own short-lived authorization from your console session, not SSH, so it works without a device key. It ends when you close the tab, and sign out everywhere closes it too.

For longer work, the desktop has a full terminal app, and the CLI gives you SSH with your own terminal and editor.
