CLI reference

kiste ssh

Connect to a running Kiste.

Connects through kiste.run; no ports are opened on your network. Anything after -- runs as a remote command instead of a shell, and leading options there go to ssh itself.

Aliases: shell, terminal.

kiste ssh [OPTIONS] [NAME] [-- <COMMAND>...]
ArgumentDescription
[NAME]Kiste name, current, or self. Omit when exactly one running Kiste exists.
[-- COMMAND...]Command to execute without an interactive terminal. Prefix it with --.
OptionDescription
--print-commandPrint the exact OpenSSH argv without connecting.

Examples

kiste ssh Connect to the current Kiste
kiste ssh review-42 Connect by name
kiste ssh current -- uname -a Run one OpenSSH command
kiste ssh current --print-command Print reusable, safely quoted OpenSSH argv
kiste ssh dev -- -L 8080:localhost:8080 Pass options to ssh

Global options such as --json work with every command; see the CLI overview.
